Nitrous Oxide: Nitrous oxide is commonly referred to as laughing gas. Nitrous oxide is administered through a small nasal mask during your treatment. This option is ideal for patients who may have a fear of needles. Patients are aware and will be able to communicate with their dentist if needed. Most patients report feeling relaxed and comfortable during their treatment. Once the nasal mask is removed, the effects of nitrous oxide diminish.

Oral Sedation: Oral sedation is administered in the form of a pill and often require an at home dose. Patients will remain relaxed but aware throughout their treatment. Patients will need to coordinate transportation to and from our office.
