Invisalign® is a comfortable, effective solution to treat a wide range of tooth alignment and occlusion issues. Patients can enjoy the benefit of a discreet, comfortable alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign is a clear, removable aligner system that gradually straightens the teeth over the course of your treatment. Invisalign may not be right for every patient; however, we can work with you to determine if Invisalign is right for you.
Dr. Clay Miller, Dr. Kirk Solberg, and Dr. Mark Williams are Altamonte Springs, FL Invisalign providers. We offer Invisalign treatment as an effective solution to treat crooked or misaligned teeth.
Invisalign Invisible Braces Can Treat:
- Gaps between the teeth, diastemas
- Crooked teeth
- Misaligned teeth
- Overcrowded teeth
Invisalign can be an effective solution for adult and teen patients with mild to moderate orthodontic issues. Patients often opt for Invisalign because it offers a more comfortable, and convenient solution to straighten crooked or misaligned teeth.
Benefits of Invisalign
Patients with crooked teeth may have an increased risk of developing tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and overall damage to the teeth. Invisalign can be an ideal solution to treat crooked teeth.
Invisalign is virtually invisible due to the clear, hard-soft plastic material used to create the aligners. Patients can remove their aligners to eat without restrictions, as well as perform their normal brushing and flossing routine.
After Invisalign treatment, patients can feel more confident in their smile. Our dental team will work with each patient through their treatment to ensure long-lasting, stable results.
Invisalign What to Expect
We create customized Invisalign aligners to fit securely and comfortably over your teeth. Using 3-D computer digital imaging, Drs. Miller, Solberg, and Williams can take images and impressions of your teeth and jaw to create a set of customized Invisalign aligners. The number of aligners you receive will be dependent on the length of treatment and desired result.
Traditionally, each set of aligner will be worn in 2-week increments for at least 20-22 hours a day. Throughout your treatment, the teeth will slowly shift into proper alignment. Treatment usually lasts anywhere from 9- 15 month. Periodic checkups will enable your dentist to monitor treatment progress and make any adjustments as needed to aligners or treatment time.
To maintain your new smile, we recommend wearing a retainer nightly for the rest of your life. This will prevent orthodontic relapse and associated dental concerns.
